The people behind the books — and the lives that shaped them.

ANDRES F. LEONE, MD

Palliative Care Physician. Pastor. Spirituality Teacher. Author.

What do you say to someone who is dying? After more than twenty years as a palliative care physician, Andres F. Leone MD has learned that the more important question is: what do they say to you? The patients he has sat with at the end of their lives have been his most important teachers — not about death, but about how to live. That is what his books are about.

Born in South America and fluent in English and Spanish, Andres is also a postulant of the Order of Lutheran Franciscans, a teacher of Christian meditation, and a weekly presence in the hospital chapel where he leads free meditation sessions every Tuesday. His work with Wisdom Grove Publishing carries the same intention as his medical practice: to help people find presence, meaning, and peace — whatever tradition they come from.
